A Drinking Song

A drinking song I wrote in 15 minutes...

Gather ‘round and ye all shall hear
The way to have fun without any fear,
For the ways of man, a quest for survival,
Often begins with decking a rival.

Grab a beer, malt or ale,
Don’t let them tease, always play fair.

A game of stones, someone cheats.
Set ‘em straight, knock out their teeth!
A fire’s warm, and so is your belly,
A fight you’ve got, but not a lady.

Hold down your beer, malt or ale,
Don’t let them tease, always play fair.

She watch’d ya deck that cheating liar,
Watched with eyes burning like fire.
Make your move, and don’t be hasty.
You’ve got all night, no time for wastin’!

It's not very good, but I was bored and messing around. Working towards my 100 posts for the Guild Hall, I guess. ;-)
